Clara Mallegni loves experimenting with a variety of methods and materials, and her artistic language ranges from the figurative field to abstract modes, from collage techniques to sculpture.
At the same time, there is a fil rouge running through her creations: an ever-recurring, “personal” archetype embodied by a human figure about to take flight. This figure also seems to evoke a seagull, a bird that she particularly likes and often comes across during her long walks on the beach.
